Watch Out 2014

Wellesley: A young program on the move. A few years ago, this team wouldn’t even have come close to a playoff berth. Now, after finishing in 5th place in the Bay State Conference, the Raiders will have the spotlight on them.  Lead by senior Ben Cohen, they have a shot to turn a lot of heads and make a deep post season run.

Natick: After years of dominance, this program had a tough season. After Starting the year at 3-5 (those 3 wins coming from the last 3 teams in the conference), they were able to turn their season around towards the end (finishing above .500 at 10-9). This season, after not losing too much, they will only improve. With Peter Suxho at the helm, this team will be looking to get back in their stride.

Lincoln-Sudbury: State champions, state finalist, winning records & central champions are all things that people associate with this program. After losing back to back incredibly talented classes, it left a younger team to face off against some of the best that the state has to offer. Taking games from Westford, Arlington and Cambridge during the year showed that this team had talent. Now, with another year under their belts, and McClung holding the reins, look for this team to bounce back and get to another level this year.

Andover: Over the past few years, Andover has seen the loss of many good players, as well as a great coach. Now, a set of new faces take over. As a young team last year, Andover was able to compete well in the stacked MVC, but still could not break .500. With not much change in their roster from 2013 to 2014, this team has only improved from their 4th place MVC finish. Watch out for them, they will be around come time for the league championship.
